The Full Story

My journey into the world of game development began somewhat unexpectedly during high school. It was a simple decision to enroll in a game development class that sparked what would become my life’s passion. This initial foray into game design opened my eyes to the boundless possibilities of creating new worlds through code and art.

Fueled by this newfound passion, I decided to pursue a diploma in Game Design at NAIT, eager to formalize my education and hone my skills. This experience was transformative, providing me with a robust foundation in the intricacies of game design and development. As I neared the completion of my diploma, I knew I wanted to push my capabilities even further.

I then enrolled at Lindenwood University to pursue a bachelor's degree specializing in Art for Game Design. This opportunity allowed me to deepen my understanding of the artistic elements that bring games to life, from character development to immersive environments. Throughout my academic journey, I also discovered a keen interest in extended reality (XR). This led me to achieve a University of British Columbia-certified XR Designer certificate, expanding my expertise into the realms of virtual and augmented reality.

Along the way, I founded DYVERS, where I currently lead a team dedicated to crafting avant-garde gaming experiences that merge strategy with exhilarating fun. My experiences have not only sharpened my skills in traditional game development tools like Unreal Engine, Maya, and Unity but also allowed me to explore the cutting edge of VR development.

This blend of technical proficiency and creative expression is what drives me to continue pushing the boundaries of what is possible in game design. Driven by a relentless passion to bring imaginative concepts to life, I am always on the lookout for new challenges and opportunities to create gaming experiences that leave a lasting impression.
